Gospel message is not:
- Material blessing
- Healing
- Gaining anything from the world
- Not just new thoughts (provided by Dr. and PhD.)
(it all part but not the sole purpose)
2 Corinthians 11:4 This is another gospel
For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
Why people do not listen when the Gospel is shared?
- Internal conflict
- People not practicing what they preach
Whilst preachers are praying for new thoughts, they need to pray for help from God to live the word of God.
God knows who will be able to withstand suffering for his name
Father the God
- One become father is when the fulfill their responsibility of the father
- Can call Father, Appa etc. Because we have the authority to call God the Father.
- Prodigal Son came direct to the father. He was unclean and the father still approached him with open heart. The presence of Father God, cleans everyone who approach him.
1 Peter 1:16-17
16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 17 Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear.
- you must be Holy because God is Holy
- God is impartial
Most people who spread the Gospel through preaching does not have God’s calling
- even pastors, will approach the wealthy people the community.
- They are not looking at the person but the person’s money
You can not serve both God and Money
