“Gather to me this consecrated people,
who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”

1 Corinthians 8:10

10 For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols?

  • We who know should not be entertaining these false worship
  • Others are observing the life of a Christian and therefore we must live according to the work of God.

Philippians 3:1-4

Further, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you. Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh. For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh— though I have reasons for such confidence. If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more

But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.

2 Corthianian 5:1 – Body is a tent

Paul’s knowledge – part of the council, knew the book of Moses went to Athens and spoke in greek.

Idol food (1 Corinthian 8:8)
